When The Going Gets ….

Week 1: Identify Your Pain and Struggles

Read JOHN 5:1-15 this week and think about each statement throughout the week and then journal your response or write out your questions.

Day One:  Have you ever face a situation in your life that brought pain? At first how did you handle it?

Day Two:  If the pool could heal why did the man have the infirmity for 38 years?  Is it hard to believe that no one would help the man into the pool?

Day Three:  What do you think of Jesus question to the man in verse 6? How would you have responded?

Day Four:  What do you think of the peoples reaction to the man being made well?  How do you respond when someone shares with you a victory over sin or a trial?

Day Five: Do you find it easy or difficult to trust God—not just in the big situations but also in all other situations in life?

Day Six:  How have you been helped during a trial or how do you help someone who is going through something?

Day Seven:  What have you learned about fear and it’s impact on your relationship with Christ?  Would you be willing to share with your Dgroup?

There will be a single Sunday morning service on Jan. 1, 2012 at 10:00am with children’s church in the FLC.
